One month down... :)

Wow, it has been a month already??!?

I feel very settled now. I'm in a good routine with work, rest and play! :)

I loved Mid-Autumn festival last week, especially venturing out to the New Territories to see how the locals do it. Basically, they do it without much thought of health and safety. For example, the floating lattern which was the size of a small car had so much hot wax dripping out! Just crazy!

The following day I went to see a fire dragon dance on the island. Lots of people hold up the dragon which is made from loads and loads of incense sticks! Again, health and safety is disregarded as they come damn close to you as they run up and down the road. Didn't get the bagpipe players afterwards who were obviously not from Scotland though...

The weather is just about nice now, not as sticky or humid as the previous weeks. Wooh! Can't wait to start hiking around this place.

My first month has been productive, fun and hot. Bring on the next month!

New flat, new rules!

I have a new apartment! Ok, so its the tinniest apartment in the world, but I love it! I can stare out my window to the Hennessy Road, looking at all the people go by...

Work so far is easy, some of the kids are funny, some are quiet and some are just weird. So just like home then! :)

I just love the food out here and it's so damn cheap too! I think this is going to be just fine.

Just one thing though... people here can walk very, very ssllllooowwwwwllllyyyyyyyyy. I have lost track of how many times I have nearly taken someones shoe off because I've walked too close to them. Ha!
